On 2 September 2025 we spoke to Mohamed Sabry, Founder and CTO of semiconductor developer EMASS, which has taken the next step in validating its ECS-DoT chip in drones to make them fly longer, 60% on average! EMASS’ System-on-a-Chip for Edge AI (artificial intelligence) applications operates much more energy efficient than existing chips and facilitates advanced AI at the Edge of the Internet in a wide range of applications.

On 10 July 2025 we spoke to Mohamed Sabry, the founder and CTO of EMASS that was acquired by Nanoveu (ASX:NVU) in FY25. EMASS is developing an Artificial Intelligence (AI) chip that can be integrated into Edge devices (AIoT) and deliver a massive performance improvement with substantially lower energy consumption compared to existing chips on the market.
